Old Kyneton Primary School update
Work on phase one of the transformation of the Old Kyneton Primary School is now complete. Backed by a $12 million investment from the Victorian Government, this project has restored the school’s heritage bluestone building, creating a drawcard space for creativity and community, and built a new contemporary central building that provides a welcoming entry for visitors.
The former library has been made suitable for a range of community and creative uses, and the school’s grounds have been revitalised.
The Victorian Government is now seeking an operator to oversee the next chapter of the Old Kyneton Primary School.
An Expression of Interest (EOI) process will open on Wednesday 30 July, seeking parties with a compelling vision and suitable experience to bring the site to life and bring strong benefits to Kyneton and the region.
This exciting EOI opportunity will open on Wednesday 30 July and close on Monday 29 September. Visit creative.vic.gov.au for details about the EOI and for future updates about this project.
Please note: while the EOI process is underway, the latest information on the OKPS project will be available at creative.vic.gov.au. The information on this website relates to past activities and may not be up to date.
